For teachers
Teaching the Non-Fiction Anthology
Ten texts, five question types, one transferable reading method. The student site carries a guide per text and the exam method; this area carries the teaching sequence and the assessment picture.
Scheme of work
A text-by-text sequence that teaches the question types as they arise, then turns to unseen practice.
AssessAssessment
The reading questions in practical terms, examiner pitfalls, and using the marking desk with a class.
How the site supports the classroom
Each text page mirrors the analytical habits of your lessons: methods before meaning-hunting, structure never skipped, device-spotting always pushed to effect. Set text pages as pre-reading or catch-up; use the exam skills page as the revision spine; and route practice answers through the marking desk (annotations only, never grades) so classroom time goes to redrafting. Quotations on the site are kept short; students work from their own anthologies.
